Community Tasting History

Community Tasting Notes (average 91.3 pts. and median of 92 pts. in 3 notes) - hiding notes with no text

Tasted by Philip67 on 1/9/2024 & rated 92 points: Lots of oak on the attack, along with classic Loire Sauvignon Blanc notes of grass, gooseberries and grapefruit. Nice oily mouthfeel. High acidity. Medium to long finish, some complexity. Drinking well now, don't think it will improve but will last for quite a few years. (404 views)
Tasted by Raywilliams420 on 12/1/2023 & rated 92 points: Aftertaste is spectacular for the price point. Lil grassy immediately but citrus an acidity punch that in the face immediately after swallowing. Acidity just lingers while light citrus notes fade This is a drinker now but I can’t wait to see what age does to this. I have a few more 375 bottles left. Note to self. Don’t open for 3 years.

Did a 6 wine tasting
De ladoucette pouilly fume #1 Great finish
Kerner alto Adige Italian white grape #4
Austria Gruner #3 hence the wine in this text
Assyrtiko Greek white wine #5
Tiberio trebbiano d Abruzzo #2 also better finish
Nik weis kabinett German riesling #6. Riesling should be number one in my book but this one lacks acidity and is very fruit forward. (356 views)
Tasted by sh6k on 3/31/2023 & rated 90 points: Classic pouilly fume, definitely leaning in to the “fume” part — dry saline mineral smoky — pleasant and clean, perfect with oysters (618 views)
