(305 views) | | Tasted by loj on 12/6/2023 & rated 90 points: This is fine and very elegant, although a tad sweet. White flowers, pear, lemon.
The lightness of this is quite elegant. (350 views) | | Tasted by oakville72 on 9/27/2023 & rated 88 points: Pale yellow. Engaging nose of light peach or nectarine. There is some spiciness, almost like Gewürztraminer light. Unfortunately, it finishes with just a tad too much sweetness for my taste despite a reasonable amount of acid. It's great to see this popular Georgian/Russian variety grown in the U.S. Several decades ago, Jim Concannon, after a trip to the USSR, imported cuttings to be grown on his family vineyard in the Livermore Valley. But that wine went nowhere, and the vines were either pulled or grafted over to more commercial varieties. Overall, the Dr. Konstantin Frank wines are a great value. Medium body, medium length. Good wine. (520 views) | | Tasted by hckschr40 on 8/27/2023 & rated 91 points: Verylight lemon color.
Lemon, pear, lychee and faint minerality on the nose.
Lemons and pears on the saline palate are very nice. Mouthfeel transcends the color and nose, and riesling-type acidity provides freshness and lift. Very nice. (519 views) | | Tasted by hawk30 on 3/25/2023 & rated 89 points: So underrated. (548 views) | | Tasted by JWG on 3/23/2023 & rated 87 points: Good Rkatsiteli. (497 views) | | Tasted by Burgundy Al on 3/11/2023 & rated 87 points: Walkaround tasting. Fun now with a style that I would have thought to be a balanced, lighter Riesling. (1286 views) | | Tasted by jwildman3 on 2/3/2023 & rated 88 points: Picked up at the winery. Aromas of white pepper and peach. Melon and a hint of tangerine on the palate. Personally for me I thought the acid and sweetness is out of balance. Maybe that will integrate with age? It’s seems like the style is off-dry. Looks like other people agree with this. I enjoyed the wine, cheers! (387 views) | | Tasted by Monsieur Grenache on 1/8/2023 & rated 88 points: Lime and underripe exotic fruits profile. Aromatic but fairly straightforward. A little too sweet for me (442 views) |

| Dr. Konstantin Frank Producer websiteUSAAmerican wine has been produced since the 1500s, with the first widespread production beginning in New Mexico in 1628. Today, wine production is undertaken in all fifty states, with California producing 84% of all U.S. wine. The continent of North America is home to several native species of grape, including Vitis labrusca, Vitis riparia, Vitis rotundifolia, and Vitis vulpina, but the wine-making industry is based almost entirely on the cultivation of the European Vitis vinifera, which was introduced by European settlers. With more than 1,100,000 acres (4,500 km2) under vine, the United States is the fourth-largest wine producing country in the world, after Italy, Spain, and France.New York Uncork New York!
