Community Tasting Notes (average 81 pts. and median of 81 pts. in 1 note) - hiding notes with no text

Tasted by gripNsip on 3/26/2009 & rated 81 points: This was such a strange desert wine. Smells and tastes super funky, like cheese rhine with some cantalope and sweetness. Some sour apple on the palate as well. Slightly alcoholic finish. Not for everyone, I couldn't even touch this the first night, now the next day I still don't find it very good. The cheesy funk is much stronger than the sweet part of this wine, so buyer beware, it is not your typical desert wine. Still, interesting enough, and cheap so not a real loss. Would not buy again.
