Tasted by no leashes on 10/18/2011 & rated 90 points: Wow, this 2007 cdr is drinking beautifully. Rich red fruit, pepper and earth, medium bodied, nicely balanced. (4379 views)
Tasted by bcmatthias on 10/15/2011 & rated 88 points: When first opened, there was a slight note that the bottle may have gone bad. After about 30 minutes, the basement smell was gone and it opened up to a decent, drinkable wine. (2106 views)
Tasted by no leashes on 8/21/2011 & rated 90 points: Drinking very nicely, the additional bottle age seems to have smoothed it out very nicely, with red cherry, lavender and earth flavors. (1714 views)
Tasted by cobbpa on 12/14/2010 & rated 84 points: Good bottle. Start to finish: bright red fruits, spices, and hints at darker red fruits. Decent structure makes it nice with food. (1693 views)
Tasted by no leashes on 7/15/2010 & rated 90 points: Delicious everyday drinker, smooth texture, cherry, pepper, stone and spice flavors. (2074 views)
Tasted by no leashes on 7/15/2010 & rated 90 points: Very nice everyday drinker, as others have said, but also was the wine we went to with a grilled leg of lamb when the B&H Chien Lunatique was undrinkable with food. (2073 views)
Tasted by no leashes on 5/13/2010 & rated 90 points: Delicious Rhone, smooth texture, drinking beautifully. (2112 views)
Tasted by ecnemergut on 5/8/2010 & rated 88 points: Still tight. Needs more time. (1832 views)
Tasted by cmr on 4/14/2010 & rated 89 points: Very nice everyday drinker. On opening strong raspberry fruit up front but after an hour the raspberry settled down and more of a cherry mix started to come through along with the raspberry. Good structure and body with a nice finish with hints of raspberry clinging on. Excellent value. (2270 views)
Tasted by green-steve on 4/14/2010 & rated 87 points: Pop and pour; closed at first, gained weight with 30 minutes air time; "grenache" fruit profile, some spice/pepper with an interesting hint of citrus; great acidity, fine tannins, medium finish. Pretty nice for $7. (1721 views)
Tasted by orkmork on 3/29/2010 & rated 88 points: The wine looks Garnet colored.
The legs are Medium.
It smells like Strawberry Jam, and Black Pepper.
It tastes like Blackberry, Mineral, and Vanilla.
The body is Light/Medium.
The wine is textured Juicy.
The wine finishes Short. (1991 views)
Tasted by ecnemergut on 3/4/2010 & rated 90 points: A surprise. Great raspberry nose and full palate. Wound up pretty tight right now. Revisit again in a year.... (1899 views)
Tasted by bin905 on 2/15/2010 & rated 88 points: Ruby red color. Initially, bright red fruit (strawberry), herb and cinnamon, followed by currant and black tea, finishing with ample acidity and moderate tannins. (2300 views)
Tasted by Old Amarone on 2/4/2010 & rated 88 points: The first of a case I bought yesterday at an unreal price for a 97 from a pretty good mass producer

It had a Vegetative nose with points of Asparagus and Straw. Lots of Red Fruit in the mouth mid palette, but finished with a Acid- alcohol Heat. Quite good for a Tuesday night wine and at the giveaway price, it is a deal. (2286 views)
Tasted by jsums on 1/13/2010 & rated 88 points: Darker ruby color. Nose: ripe strawberry/raspberry fruit with some brussels sprouts/string beans, distinct minerality, and a light touch of vanilla. A little hot. Palate: ripe red berries and pronounced stone/metal minerality framed by some peppercorn, bay leaf, and a very light touch of creme brulee. Moderate/lighter earthy tannins. Focused acidity. Moderate length. I like the earth/vegetal notes in this wine. It almost has a Cab Franc element to its rustic personality. Needs some air to come together. Well made. Excellent value. (1959 views)
Tasted by aroby on 12/20/2009 & rated 87 points: Great QPR. Nicely spicy with red fruits and some tannins which, although present, were soft and lush. Good mouthfeel and decent finish. Would buy this again. (1850 views)
Tasted by no leashes on 11/22/2009 & rated 90 points: Delicious ripe red fruit, some earth and mineral as well. Great for the price. A wine to simply enjoy, and we did! (2304 views)
Tasted by cab on 10/16/2009: Rustic, not complicated, but acidic and bracing, even if barnyardy. Very drinkable by itself. Very slightly candied finish. When I think Grenache I think cinnamon and chocolate, and this is more unripe plums, pears, and maybe raisins. But a little viscous and coats the tongue. Weird comment, I know, but not sure I need to buy more of this, although I really enjoyed it tonight. (2399 views)
Tasted by WinePT on 9/5/2009 & rated 86 points: Raspberries, a little cherry, mineral, and cedar. Touch of vanilla. Strong backbone of velvety tannins and acid. Should improve with time in bottle. (2027 views)
Tasted by etherscreen on 9/1/2009: decent qpr. would buy again. nice raspberries and some minerals framed by good acid. (1222 views)
Tasted by wbq8f on 8/25/2009 & rated 88 points: Nice, spicy, rich. (1262 views)
