Tasted by pkatz on 5/17/2024 & rated 88 points: OK. Some funky notes on the nose. Slightly lesser vintage than previous. (142 views)
Tasted by mpsocal on 4/10/2024 & rated 88 points: Never disappoints (255 views)
Tasted by snarfglk on 2/9/2024 & rated 90 points: 89-90, better day 2 after some air. (292 views)
Tasted by Ryan8008 on 12/16/2023 & rated 89 points: Big bomby fruit on the nose - blueberry, dried strawberry and grilled plum. Orangey edge and a bit of black pepper too. Big, bold flavours if not complexity.

Flavour concentration is high and the taste is fruit forward and easy drinking. Alcohol is pretty well integrated, though of course there is a bit of burning from the 15%. Structure is too loose for my taste - compared to the Aglianico I drank beside it, it was quite soupy from lack of tannin and acid, and some burning on the end from the alcohol. This is where the wine stumbles a bit, though when I had a small glass after dinner on its own, this was less noticeable.

Pretty classic structure and flavours for a Grenache, and for $20 you could do a lot worse. Think this would be a nice party wine or be very good for drinkers who like their wine fruit forward without tasting confected.

Most of the bottle is under Coravin pivot, will see tomorrow if this opens a bit more. (460 views)

Tasted by mpsocal on 6/15/2023 & rated 88 points: Very fruity, easy to drink. (671 views)
Tasted by Double-A on 6/14/2023 & rated 85 points: Red berry nose and flavours. Weighty, alcoholic palate; fruity finish with a lip numbing ethanol impression.
3/5 (593 views)
(717 views)
Tasted by Ben Christiansen on 10/19/2022: Really grapey and black fruit and black raspberry to it. And soft and a bit fake-y but there it is. The old workhorse notes Patrick. (1010 views)
Tasted by Rodenbach99 on 9/26/2022 & rated 89 points: Belle robe rubis. Nez avec beaucoup d'épices nobles (pas de poivre) sauge, romarin, olives, touche de médicaments. Bouche vibrante avec des cerises. Très bon pour ce prix. (733 views)
Tasted by Ray@Heimbuchassoc.com on 9/10/2022 & rated 93 points: I think this wine deserves a bit more love than has been shown so far. Deep, translucent garnet. Medium body, good acidity. Like other Granaches it does need time to blossom in the glass. Smooth red berries right out of the chute with a long raspberry finish. Later it will show mint and flowering complexity. A great surprise from a bottle I threw in to complete a case for the discounted shipping ;-) One of my favorites is a Spanish granache Punto Y Coma and I gave it a very high rating. This wine is more refined that the more rustic Punto (damn those French they do know their wines) but I suspect it may have the same hidden gem quality where an occasional bottle will give you a few last glasses which are memorable and will warm you years later.  Tasted by tadams66 on 12/16/2021 & rated 90 points: Solid wine and a good value. Give it some time to open up before drinking. (919 views)
