Seeded fruit and tad-o-citrus, dry but not too, some residual sugar for a pleasant but short finish. There seems to be some oak, but not overpowering at all. On the nose there is some tropical fruits, pineapple etc. There is a slight bubble gum, or smoothness, i think from the oak. There is maybe just a little too much alchohol on the nose, but it's not evident on the palate. Mouthfeel is very nice, light-medium bodied and very smooth. This is one of the best Pinot Grigio's i've had and may become my go-to value white. (2133 views) |
