Er lebt immer noch. Und wie. Schöne Stoffigkeit, milde, gute Säure, und dann eine Anis-Würze gepaart mit einer Karamelsüße…irre. Toller Wein. Mal schaun, wohin der sich noch entwickelt… (112 views) | | Tasted by Christoffer78 on 9/30/2017 & rated 94 points: This wine certainly represents the Cabernet Franc varietal in a very compelling and elegant way. Tonight, there is an abundance of elegant fruit combined with lovely subtle green tones, which disappears after some time in the glass. The palate is profoundly integrated and balanced. Tannins are present but well-behaved and feels like they are becoming more and more integrated as the wine opens up in the glass. This effort is certainly lovely and without the slightest doubt it deserves all the merit it can get. (852 views) | | Tasted by Bluespolo on 4/2/2016 & rated 91 points: Molta intensità, buona complessità. Massive elegant fruit combined with subtle and adorable green tones, which seem to mellow as time passes. The palate is totally integrated and balanced. Still the tannins do speak up at the end, but in a pleasant way. This effort is truly impeccable and without the slightest doubt it represents very skilful winemaking. (2007 views) | | Tasted by Bluespolo on 1/19/2015 & rated 90 points: Very deep ruby. Small wild berries, green pepper, cut grass, tobacco, licorice, herb liqueur, fennel seeds, mediterranean herbs. Toasted of oak. Flashy at palate, hot of alcohol and spice, sustained by a prominent acidity - helped with a service temperature of about 19 c - and bold tannins. Long fruity finish. The 2007 Dedicato a Walter provides a fleshy exhuberant fruit combined with subtle and lovely green tones. The first impression is dill, but after a few minutes the unmistakable tone of Cabernet Franc emerges. The nice part of this effort is that the green tones are kept at armlengths distance thanks to the rich fruit. The palate is beautiful and the youth of this effort is nicely handled by a harmonious orchestration of the various components such as tannins, acidity and oak. This effort is impeccably balanced and represents very skillful winemaking. A true experience. Rowchan pretty much covered all the palate specifics. Looking forward to years of enjoyment. (2267 views) | | Tasted by Rowchan on 8/18/2012 & rated 90 points: Flagship wine, from very small vineyard Clear, black-purple with crimson rim, fantastic tears. Clean, med intensity, black currants, green peppers, balsamic, black pepper, strawberries, stewed red currants and red licorice. Dry, med - body, med - tannins, med- alcohol, changing flavours over the palette, gamey, chewy, with a great finish. Good ripe fruit but also with some harsh elements. 88 (2292 views) |
