  • 2004 Prats and Symington Douro Chryseia 91 Points

    Portugal, Douro

Touriga Nacional and Touriga Franca. Sweet and dusty at the same time, port-like, almost overripe fruit, raisins, currants, plums, spices; on the palate fresh and relatively dry, very good intensity; slightly hot finish but very good length. A bit unknit. Unsure about its future.

  • 1970 Graham Porto Vintage 95 Points

    Portugal, Douro, Porto

Remarkably deep and lively colour for a 42 year old wine; rich, sweet, excellent depth, touch of oak, slightly spirity, classic 1970 structure, still a hint of plumminess, complete, will last for a very long time. Drink now - 2030+.

  • 1963 Warre Porto Vintage 94 Points

    Portugal, Douro, Porto

From magnum. Light and mature colour; quite closed on the nose, powdery, vestiges of fruit; on the palate fresh and energetic, typical citrus flavours (tangerine), extremely elegant; good length. A delicate wine of great finesse. Not as expressive as the bottle tasted in 2008 though.
