Our house

These were the wines opened for our holiday party.
Clearly a red wine crowd.
I was surprised that Elyse Le Corbreau was first wine finished. It was a huge crowd pleaser. I was also surprised the Quincy was the first white finished. All in all, with the exception of the two corked wines everything showed very well. Merry Christmas!
2008 Schramsberg Vineyards Brut Rosé 92 Points
USA, California, North Coast
From magnum, pale salmon color with tiny, delicate bubbles leads to a nose of strawberry. Body shows delicious strawberry and raspberry framed with good acidity. Really enjoyed.

From magnum, enjoyable but not as good as Schramsberg.
