Popped and poured. Clear pale golden color. Clean, pronounced, developing nose. Smoky, herbaceous, zesty and mineral notes. Very deep, dense and beautiful!
Zesty, smoky, green tobacco, high, ripe acidity, very mineral and some fine red berries.. Wonderful balance, very deep, great tension and energy, very juicy. Very long, mineral and complex. In a wonderful spot right now. 93-94

Tasted blind blind. Clear medium golden color. Herbaceous nose, mineral, floral, fine and almost airy.
On the palate very mineral, herbaceous and salty with a high, ripe acidity. Fine oak. Quite elegant and with a beautiful tension. Long. So surprised to see what it was. Beautiful wine with still an upscale potential. 92-93+

Tasted blind blind. Needs a lot of time and air to unfold. At first nervous and a bit unbalanced. After a quick decant it showed its true beauty. Fine fruit, fresh herbs, elegant, mineral and very dense and deep. Oak is beautifully integrated. Good length. Solid upscale potential. 92-93+

Tasted blind blind. Clear pale golden color. Nose at first a bit lactic, some cheesy notes but also fine lime zests and fines toasting, very elegant. The lactic notes vanished with time.
On the palate very lean and precise, high acidity, fine lime zests, wonderful mineral core, fine herbs. Deep, elegant and balanced. Long, fine finish. Really beautiful. 93-94

Tasted blind blind. Not decanted at first. Gained more balance after a quick decant. Clear, deep ruby color. Deep, floral herbaceous and spicy nose with some weird pine notes.
On the palate despite a creamy texture fine, spicy, high acidity, only 12,5% abv. Nice grip, mellow tannin. Some warm, cooked fruit, some barn notes. Good length. Needs probably way more time. 92+

Tasted blind blind. Clear, deep ruby color. Youthful nose, lactic, very fruity (cassis) and spicy. On the palate round, bold and powerful, lots of red fruit, rather warm/hot, lots of vanilla. Very international and a bit soulless, but very well made. 88-89

Quite consistent with my previous notes. Crowd pleaser in the very best sense. Beautiful fruit basked, high acidity, nice sweetness. Very joyful and pleasant to drink. Good length. Full peak, but no hurry. 88-89

From a Magnum somewhere disgorged around 1990. Beautiful balance, nice mousseux and still quite lively. Round and harmonious.
