  Very fruity, quite light, gluggable, nevertheless attractive, good balance, not for keeping.

  Austria, Burgenland, Neusiedlersee

  Fragrant with oak dominating, attractive, some fruit hiding somewhere, and there are animal notes.
  Very fruity, a lovely mouthful but not quite in balance - maybe in two years or so.

  Eventually there's a fruity nose, but this is still very closed.
  Very youthful, good balance, this is infanticide but the complexities are already shining through; this needs to remain in the cellar for 4 - 5 years.

  Overwhelming blackcurrant nose with some flowery notes.
  Fruity oak, plummy, simple, tarry, disappointing.

  Pleasant fruit with good balance but a little too light and quite short.

  Animal farmyard smells, then sweet fruit and herbs.
  A sweet attack but the alcohol shows through, lacking fruit, quite soft in the mid palate.

  Fruit, animal, treacle, complex.
  Luscious, savoury, full bodied, rich, elegant, with oaky fruitiness in the finish.

  Perfect welcoming complex nose, fruity and peppery.
  Fruity, tarry, full, elegant, very approachable now but needs another 5 - 6 years. Very long.
