  • 2005 Domaine William Fèvre Chablis 1er Cru Fourchaume

Taste: Chocolate covered cherries, liquor-filled chocolates, red and blue fruits, with hints of cigar and cedar.
Overall: An outstanding example that was exciting to taste and the experience was more important than the quality of the wine. With Chocolate mousse this really just seemed to fit...

Flight 5 - Sparkling wine to close for the night (1 Note)

  • 1987 Argyle Chardonnay Blanc de Blancs Cuvee Limited 90 Points

USA, Oregon, Willamette Valley, Dundee Hills

Beautiful hints of baked apples, stone fruit, star fruit, and asian pear on the palate...complex nose of baked breads and minerals...simply lovely. Not as vibrant as the last bottle that I had, but this was still complex and interesting. If I had more I'd be drinking them in the near future...
