    on initial decant
    med+/deep ruby, starting to go garnet at rim
    a: med int, developed
    caramel, orange spice, grand mariner, dried cranberry, stem, cabbage

    1hr in decanter
    Deep Ruby [does not look 26yrs old]
    a: dark dark nose, fresh, no youth of fruit, savory but not over the top
    T: acid med+, med+ tannin, so fresh, dried raspberry, cranberry, utterly delicious

    conc: just evolved over the hr, amazing, almost asks for food!

    Tons of Tannins still present, this was decanted for a couple of hrs, and just changed and chnaged, At one point a lot of tar and older fruit, then came back with fresh aged fruit, amazing wine, maybe not asking for food more of a drink by itself so good

    this was a gamble open, neck fill was 1/5 empty LOL, might as well open since it was most likly going to be dumped, could not be revived! ah well
