Ladera Winery, outside Angwin, CA

Between our visits to O'Shaughnessy and CADE we had enough spare time to pop into Ladera for their regular tasting. The tasting room hostess at O'Shaughnessy was kind enough to call ahead for us and make sure that Ladera was able to receive us on such short notice.
Regular tastings at Ladera are $15.00 per person and typically include 4 wines. On this particular day the very friendly and knowledgeable Daniel was working the tasting room (a bar setup across two empty barrels in the front of the winery kind of a tasting room) and he was kind enough to pour 2 extra wines for us for a total of 6 wines. In the interest of full disclosure Daniel was also kind enough to comp our tasting fees.
