Earthy nose with moderate tannins and slightly dry. Thinner than I expected - I had the same problem with the cork as the 2006 (corks have been drying and crumble when removed with a traditional corkscrew - I have reported this to the winery in SA as it is either a full batch of corks or there shipments to the US)
This was my favorite of the day - decanted for 4 hours - strong, full bodied and well integrated - lightly chewy with a very small hint of pepper - definitely worth buying and putting more away. This was my only bottle.
