  • 2006 Saxum Broken Stones 93 Points

USA, California, Central Coast, Paso Robles

I liked this a lot. Funky, meaty, pine cones, minty. Sweet creamed corn even on the nose. Lots of black fruit with some fresh linen scents. Palate is massive much bigger than the nose lets on in fact. Sweet rich, creamy and fruit forward. So young still. Massive yet caressing for me. Hold for another five to seven years until tasting again I believe.
