Popped and poured, but we should have decanted. A bit of a slow starter sour off the bat and a bit muted, but started to open up as it swirled in the glass. Young and lively, yet a bit thin and average, especially for a RM reserve. Very typical older mondavi reserve nose, would have guessed it in a second blind. Blackberry nose, Black fruit palate. Medium finish.
Won't give it a rating as the bottle tasted a bit off, but definitely not corked. Velvety mouthfeel, with med finish. Nose and Palate were tough to distinguish.

Fantastic showing for a syrah. Blackberry, blueberry, round integrated tannins. Elegant, big wine. Drinking perfectly. Med+ finish.
