Open for 1 day. Deep purple color. Oak has calmed down significantly since opening yesterday. Chocolate, vanilla, mint and dark berries on the nose. Rich ripe palate but really nice minerality and balance. Blackberries turning to cherries on the finish. Nice smooth tannins.
Open 1 day. Distinct deep brooding nose of tobacco, herbs and dark fruits. Rich and extremely balanced palate. Nice charred earth and dark black berries on the palate with a lovely minerality. Lovely structure and definition on the palate. Great wine.
Open 1 day. Nose is all red fruit profile. All forms of cherries. Tart, stewed, candied, etc. The nose also shows tobacco and thyme. The palate is refined and elegant in a Bordeaux fashion. Silky hidden tannic structure. Very good and needs bottle time to come together. 93-94.
