Inky purple. Soft, brambly nose - even a little barnyard-y. Bundles of soft red fruit on the palate but just a touch sweet on the finish. Decent at under £5 though.
I was late to this and literally left with the dregs - got a mouthful of sediment for my troubles. Exceptionally long finish but hard to judge otherwise as there was barely any liquid left to taste. I suspect it's very good though.
Dark red almost to the rim. Interesting nose: polish and pickled relish. Very concentrated but chewy and hard work at this stage without much fruit to reward your effort. Will it eventually come good? It's an expensive gamble at £24.

Fairly oaky nose but also some white nut aromas. Packed with flavour - lemon, apple, brioche. Rich but refreshing.
