Completely brown with fine sediment. Nose of eucalyptus, menthol, brown sugar, molasses. Not much left on the palate - with a vertical line between flavor and the alcohol. Surprisingly as it sat in the glass it got better and better and more integrated. Very interesting wine.
Deep dark wine with a blow-you-away structure, 30+ second long finish. This could easily go another 10 years, but is starting to hit the drinking window.
Not the best showing for this bottle - this particular one was a little cran/cherry fruit bomb. I like it more when it is a bit reserved and hiding behind soft tannins.

Good acid, creaminess balance. Lemon, vanilla. For whatever reason this bottle was a touch on the flat side - not sure where the bubbles all went.
