Yearly BYO in the wine club :-)
Impressive and deep nose with red apples, browned butter and mushrooms.
Sweet red apples on the palate, slightly oxidized, and loads of mushrooms and wet forest floor.
Deep, full-bodied and long aftertaste but still with a fresh acidity.
A very interesting caramel note comes through in the aftertaste.
Impressive wine!

Nose: Sweet pineapple, lots of white pepper, good freshness.
Palate: Very aromatic but a little one-dimensional. Clearly lacks acidity.

A very exotic nose with plenty of pineapple and a lot of wood :-)
Full-bodied pineapple on the palate and a lot of white pepper and liquorice. Has an almost oily texture but does also seems to be a little bit closed.

Intense pineapple, vanilla, oak nose.
Sweet pineapple on the palate followed by a sharp refreshing acidity in the aftertaste. Plenty of white pepper also.
A very intense wine with an impressive sharp acidity profile. Great wine!

Sharp and refreshing acidity and overall a very well-made wine.
Precise and clean flavors.

Nose: Medicine, chestnut, gaze, toothpaste.
Palate: Dry pineapple, some freshness.
A simple but refreshing wine but nothing special.

Interesting and complex nose but it does seem a bit closed and tightly wound. It does however show some fresh strawberries, a hint of varnish/petroleum but also a hint of gunpowder and vanilla.
An extremely tight palate that is almost mostly minerals and steel. Some fresh strawberries are however peeking through and a little buttermilk.
Quite bitter in the aftertaste and hard as a nail!
When this was revealed there was no doubt that this was just opened way to soon and should wait at least 10 years before approaching this again!!

Very intense and decadent nose with plum, cherry and a slight hint of vanilla.
Sensual and elegant on the palate but still compact in the cherry fruit. Huge freshness and this wine is all about the impeccable elegance that Soldera can achieve. Solid and long aftertaste that continues to impress.

Plum, tar and dirt on the nose which clearly shows its age.
Impressive palate for such an old wine with dark plums, dirt, ash and a solid balanced structure.
Overall a classic wine!

Intense and young nose with dark plums and spices.
Fresh cherries on the palate with plenty of dried spices and a solid cranberry-flavor acidity.
Powerful young wine!

Plenty of christmas-style spices on the nose but also showing plums, sewer, barnyard and a hint of coffee.
Full-bodied and fresh young dark plum fruit on the palate with a young and impressive tannin structure.
Has opened up for drinking again but it still very young!

Deep and intense dark plum nose with some vanilla liqueur.
Concentrated and dense dark fruits on the palate with complex spices.
Very explosive and in the classic Alban style.
The best Alban Grenache I have tasted.

Concentrated and extreme nose just packed with dark fruit and seaweed.
The concentration follows through on the palate with explosive flavors of dark plum, liquorice and vanilla.
An impressive, complex and explosive wine but still seems to maintain some sort of balance.
I loved it and this vintage seems to be in a style that is both Reva and Lorraine.

Huge and intense apricot nose.
The palate is very impressive showing apricots, vanilla, citrus, clementines in an intense style.
Just a huge wine that I just adored.

As usual, to me, it is just all about prunes in a wine like this.
An impressive wine but really not my style!
