    Spicy, fruity, interesting nose, but not a wow nose.
    Juicy, liquorice, very moreish, drinking well, balanced, delicious, slightly hot, not very long.

    Very meaty nose with fruit, spice and oak.
    Fruity, tobacco, excellent balance, lean and mean, fruity mid palate, serious, elegant, spicy, reasonable length.

    Meaty, hard work to find fruit, heady perfume, butterscotch, caramel.
    Loads of fruit, savoury, oaky, quite tannic, a tough wine, medium length.

    Plenty of age showing.
    Initially a leathery nose, then the delicate, intriguing perfume of fruit.
    Juicy and moreish, plenty of tannin, a certain subtle elegance, quite long.

    Mahogany.
    Meaty nose with germolene, no fruit.
    Sweet, balanced, smooth mid palate, elegant, very long. The taste certainly makes up for the nose.
