• 2011 Oremus Furmint Tokaji Dry Mandolás

  Hungary, Tokaji

  Pale lime colour.
  Oaky, lemony, cheesy even on the nose.
  Nice legs. Mandolas means bitter almond.
  Too much battonage in order to liber tension and some mineral, volcanic excesses.
  Quite shortie and acidic on the palate.
  
  Pálido color limeño.
  En nariz a roble, a limones e incluso a queso.
  Bonitas lágrimas. Mandolas significa almendra amarga.
  Demasiado battonage tratando de liberar tensión y algunos excesos minerales, volcánicos.
  En boca cortita y bien ácida.

• 2010 Bodegas Pintia Toro Pintia

  Spain, Castilla y León, Toro

  Very profound violet colour.
  Exuberant on the nose, flesh meat, fresh fruit but with that touch of cologne I hate. Liquor, lactic hints and little over extracted aromas.
  On the palate marmalade of plums indeed on Danish biscuits.
  This 100% maleolactic fermentation bottle was resting in new oak, 70% French, 30% American, needs more time to soft.
  The bottle I always compare with, Manuel Louzada (Numanthia) said.
  
  Color violeta muy profundo.
  En nariz exuberante con carne, fruta fresca y ese toque a colonia que odio. Aromas a licor, toques lácticos y un poco sobrextractada.
  En boca sin duda mermelada de ciruelas sobre galletas danesas.
  Esta botella de fermentación 100% maleolactica en barriles nuevos, 70% francés y 30% americano, necesita más tiempo para reposar.
  La botella con la que siempre me comparo, eso decía Manuel Louzada de Numanthia.

  After 18 mounts in porous oak and 24 in bottle, here we've a new vintage for all seditioner!
  More elegant than prior Toro wine with red fruit on the palate. Also very mineral.
  Pretty acidic on the palate, long,...what a vintage! Biscuits and more.
  Lovely. Better than that extraordinary 09. Alión at its best!
  
  Después de 18 meses en roble poroso y dos de estancia en botella, ahí vamos con una nueva añada de Alion lista para todos los secesionistas
  Más elegante que el vino previo de Toro con fruta roja en boca. También muy mineral.
  En boca es bien ácida, larga,...¡menuda añada! Galletas y más.
  Muy rica. Mejor que esa extraordinaria añada del 09. ¡Alion en su punto!

  That's entertainment! Lactic for a Rioja. Where is the bloody freshness? Where the acidity? That's a Roda-like all the way.
  Little veggie anyway. Confiture on the palate.
  Atlantic? That new funny concept... Show must go on!
  
  ¡Esto es distracción! Láctica para una Rioja. ¿Dónde está la maldita frescura? ¿Dónde la acidez? Es todo el rato como un Roda.
  Un poco vegetal de todos modos. Confitura en boca.
  ¿Atlántico? Ese nuevo concepto divertido... ¡El espectáculo debe continuar!

• 2010 Bodegas Benjamin de Rothschild & Vega Sicilia Rioja Macan

  More elegant that previous Clasico on both, nose and palate, a RdD-like.
  Fruit is present and lactic notes too.
  Where is terroir reflex? thinking of San Vicente.
  A Bordeaux image here? Complicated to say...
  In my modest opinion, this bottle needs time to show how much this extraordinary vintage... If this style permits so
  
  Más elegante que el Clásico previo tanto en boca como en nariz pero sigue pareciendo un RdD.
  La fruta está presente y las notas lácticas también.
  ¿Dónde está el reflejo del terruño? Pensando en San Vicente.
  ¿Es un vino a imagen de Burdeos? Complicado...
  En mi modesta opinión, esa botella necesita tiempo para mostrar lo que esconde esta extraordinaria añada si es que este estilo...

• 2009 Bodegas Vega-Sicilia Ribera del Duero Valbuena 5°

  Spain, Castilla y León, Ribera del Duero

  Pitch-dark colour.
  Reduced nose at first. Rich, opulent, dense, gentle version of a VS. What a nose! Cereals on fresh fruit. An extraordinary effort for a Valbuena.
  Cocoa and coffee on the palate. Elegant to the bone.
  Let this bottle lay down for five years more. It will be a beauty.
  
  Color negro oscuro.
  Al principio, nariz reducida. Abundante, opulenta, densa, una versión amable del VS. ¡Menuda nariz! Cereales sobre fruta fresca. Un esfuerzo increíble para una Valbuena.
  En boca cacao y café. Elegante hasta el límite.
  Deja descansar esta botella cinco años más. Será una belleza.

  A baby. It isn't just a baroque nose...
  Liked very much, elegant and aristocratic.
  Really unique
  Palate is richer than ever, as it has to be.
  Wanna an entire case!
  
  Una niña.no es sólo por esa nariz barroca...
  Me gustó mucho, elegante y aristocrática.
  Realmente única.
  La boca es más que nunca, como tiene que ser.
  ¡Quiero una caja entera!

• 2005 Oremus Tokaji Aszú 5 Puttonyos

  Hungary, Tokaji

  Lovely nose. Complex, ripe apricots
  Acidity and sweet in perfect harmony.
  Nice finish. Needs a little time yet but no too much.
  
  Maravillosa nariz. Compleja, con albaricoques maduros.
  Acidez y dulzor perfectamente integrados.
  Bello final. Necesita algo de tiempo, no mucho.
