Sweet rasberry, some pinot-like spicy-earthiness. Medium body, good concentration of fruit in the attack. Quite low tannin, soft acidity, medium finish. Not much structure, but drinking really well.
France, Burgundy, Côte Chalonnaise, Bourgogne Côte Chalonnaise
Rasberry, red currant, some medicinal notes. Medium body. Correct intensity, besides fruits shows some spices and chalkiness. Good midpalate, high and tight acidity, medium amount of solid tannins, mid-plus finish.Very dry, dusty aftertaste. Seems a bit closed, doesn't give as much as a few months before.
France, Burgundy, Côte Chalonnaise, Bourgogne Côte Chalonnaise
Complex nose with dried cherries, earthiness, dried flowers, slight, not disturbing animality, leather, tobacco. Medium body. Intense flavours, good mid-palate density, lively acidity, dusty tannins. Quite long finish. Nicely matured burgundy with still lots of energy,
Well-defined red berry-fruits, spicy and floral notes, nice wood. Medium body, but full with savours, pure, concentrated fruit. Has good mid-palate structure, nicely developping , long finish. Medium amount of tannins, fine-grained, well-integrated, so does the tight and chiseled acidity. Doesn't have incredible depth or complexity but has the polished elegance and finesse what makes a classy burgundy so special. High above in quality than it's price-category.
Beatiful, appealing nose. Lots of spices, flowers, red bery fruits. Medium body, but really intense and long lasting flavours. Dense and focussed structure, but in the same time it absolutely feels light and silky. All elements are integrated and polished. Has all the magic that only a great, classy burgundy should have, and still affordable.
France, Burgundy, Côte de Nuits, Ruchottes-Chambertin Grand Cru
Deep nose with blackberry, cassis, fine earthiness and toastiness. Medium-plus body. Intense flavours of thick fruits and spices. Dense structure, good tannic grip, well integrated acidity. Appealing focus and length. Really high quality, but less charming and colourful than the previous one.
