second half of the bottle: poured into an empty 375 bottle and vacuumed. 5 days (!) later the wine is smooth and soft, not oxidised at all and more enjoyable than the first half.
double decanting 90 min prior to enjoying dark transparent purple classic & qualitative nose of rich ripe fruit, oak-vanilla, black cherry, mocha-chocolate, spice, cedar, dark cooked herb and some minerality; powerful, full bodied, soft integrated tannins, smooth, nicely balanced, good acidity level, savoury ripe fruity flavours, medium finish; solid & very enjoyable. very solid.
