  Served by carafe, half bottle. Very Nuits on the nose, fully aroma of red fruits with some delicacy. Suave, too much easy on the palate. Don't look for complexity, depth either here.
  Shared with Danielle at Brasserie Thomieux in Paris.
  
  Servida como media botella en carafe. No ves de donde viene en ningún momento. La verdad es que en nariz es una NSG de libro con frutos rojos e incluso algo de delicadeza. Suave y muy fácil de beber.
  No busques nada complejo ni profundo.

  Extra refreshing and perfumed this time . Aromas of white fruits still far from oxidative notes shown present vibrant and balanced. At Thoumieux Brasserie in Paris with Danielle.

• 2011 Luis Anxo Rodriguez Vazquez Ribeiro Viña de Martin Os Pasás

  Despite the horrible place , we could enjoy some of the elegance that this Ribeiro treasures to those who wait .
  Deep in the mouth and fully aromatic. Mixing the bitterness and balanced length signature. Protruding aromas of white flowers and mineral notes. A delicacy.
  My little tribute to Ribeiro from Paris 8/11. BYO to Kastoori restaurant and shared with Danielle.
  
  A pesar del horrible sitio, pudimos disfrutar de algo de la elegancia que este ribeiro atesora para los que saben esperar.
  Profundo en boca y a su vez plenamente aromático. Mezclando el amargor y la longitud de firma equilibrada. Sobresalen aromas a flores blancas y notas minerales. Una delicadeza.
  Mi pequeño tributo a Ribeiro desde París 8/11.

  An incredible pale color that corresponds to its origin, Pinot Gris grape .
  Without being exuberant nose shows its best qualities on the palate with notes of cherries, with a surprising density and a bitterness that calls for a new drink.
  Très bon accompanying the Burgundian ham at restaurant Au Bourguignon du Marais. Choosy food, well priced wine list and excellent service. What's else? Danielle...
  
  De un increíble color pálido que corresponde con su origen de uva Pinot Gris.
  Sin ser exuberante en nariz muestra sus mejores cualidades en boca con notas a cerezas, con una densidad sorprendente y un amargor que llama a un nuevo trago.
  Muy bien acompañando jamón a la borgoñona.

  Still a dark color, aromatically a NSG textbook .
  The palate reminds the elegance of their elders and although it is short sample is fully usable at this time.

  Still young. Immense depth on the nose with hints of leather, berries , sandalwood and earth.
  The palate has density, good acidity to face any kind of food or even a light tannic note at the end of the tongue.
  Shared with Podor family. Some didn't understand it...
  
  Todavía joven. Inmensa profundidad en nariz con recuerdos a cuero, moras, a sándalo y a tierra.
  En boca tiene densidad, una buena acidez para encarar cualquier tipo de comida e incluso una ligera nota tánica al final de la lengua.

  At Podor's house, shared with William Charriat, whose I will use their own comments.
  Great bottle. Perfectly aged . Clear and transparent and a beautiful brown color that I love. Full of elegant aromas of black fruit on the nose and with a surprising acidity for a wine 45 years.
  Tasting note dedicated to those who thought that the producers of L' Yonne would not understand these wines.
  For me, I can only say that "my Taylor (Jason) is rich ".
  
  En casa de los Podor, compartida con William Charriat, de quien voy a utilizar sus propios comentarios.
  Gran botella. Perfectamente envejecida. Muy clara y transparente y de un precioso color marrón que me encanta. Llena de elegantes aromas a frutos negros en nariz y con una acidez sorprendente para un vino de 45 años. Nota de cata dedicada a los que pensaban que los productores de L'Yonne no iban a entender estos vinos.
  Para mi, sólo puedo decir que "my Taylor (Jason) is rich".

  In Podor's house, shared with William Charriat, whose I will use their own comments.
  A cloudy and silted bottle. Still aromatically balanced and delicious. In the mouth its acid but still maintains the grounds provide a nugget of coffee notes predominate especially at the end. By comparison it is worse than Riscal but a very good one.
  
  En casa de los Podor, compartida con William Charriat, de quien voy a utilizar sus propios comentarios.
  Una botella turbia y llena de sedimentos. Aún así aromáticamente compensada y deliciosa. En boca todavía mantiene su acidez aunque los posos aportan unas notas a pepita de café que predominan sobre todo al final. Por comparación es peor que el Riscal pero muy buena en su conjunto.

  Shared right at the confluence of Soufflot and Morts street in Irancy with Françoise and Pierre along with other guests.
  A beautiful brick color. Glorious, aristocratic, well balanced, tasty meat and so still retains a marked acidity but almost sweet. Taming but elegant through and through. Finesse all the way.
  I loved to see how savvy felt evolution in this glass of this type of wine that it was unknown.
  
  Compartida en el esquinazo de Soufflot y Morts con Françoise y Pierre junto a otros invitados.
  De un precioso color ladrillo. Gloriosa, aristocrática, bien compensada, sabrosamente cárnica ya un así todavía conserva una marcada acidez pero casi dulce. Domada pero elegante hasta la médula. Lo que se dice un vino fino.
  Me encantó comprobar cómo los conocedores sintieron la evolución en copa de este tipo de vinos que desconocían.

  Shared at the confluence of Soufflot and Morts streets in Irancy with Françoise and Pierre along with other guests.
  Still lacking the stately elegance of Murrieta, the serious and direct cut of this Imperial has convinced me. Rioja full nose with aromas of leather, snuff and wet black fruit and earthy notes. The palate deliciously acid and perfect to accompany a quiche lorraine .
  As they say, the last drink, the better.
  
  Compartida en el esquinazo de Soufflot y Morts con Françoise y Pierre junto a otros invitados.
  Aún careciendo de la elegancia señorial del Murrieta, el corte serio y directo de esta Imperial me ha convencido. Plenamente rioja en nariz con aromas a cuero, tabaco mojado y notas terrosas y de frutos negros. En boca deliciosamente ácido y perfecto para acompañar una quiché lorraine.
  Como se suele decir, el último trago, el mejor.

• 1968 R. López de Heredia Rioja Viña Bosconia 95 Points

  A wine that draws attention from the outset with a deep ruby color and high layer . Completely transparent and limpid. Almost no sediment at all which is almost unthinkable in many aged wines.
  Tondonia impressively austere nose with that recognizable style, full of minerals and coal touches plus leather with wood and wet stones.
  The palate is some meat and earthy of notes fungi. Still a sharp acidity and a tannic memory. Amazing. The fruit is manifested in the aftertaste. A wine for aging but still really round at this time.
  
  Un vino que llama la atención desde un primer momento con un color rubí profundo y de capa alta. Totalmente transparente y límpido. Sin casi sedimentos lo cual es casi impensable en vinos con tantos años.
  Impresionantemente tondonia en nariz con ese estilo austero reconocible, lleno de toques minerales como de carbón y de piedras mojadas junto con el cuero y madera.
  En boca es cárnico y terroso con algunas notas a hongos. Todavía una afilada acidez y un recuerdo tánico. Increíble. La fruta se manifiesta en el retrogusto. Un vino todavía de guarda pero realmente redondo en este momento.

  Astringent and a little unbalanced. It is recognized as a Irancy but without requiring anything more .
  A pity that the firm could disappear in two months due to retirement of the owner. The future of the firm is in the air now.

  Una pena que la firma pueda desaparecer en dos meses por jubilación del dueño. El futuro de la firma está en el aire ahora mismo.

  I can insist no more: this pinky can compete on equal terms with any famous rosé of any part of the globe, including from the south of France. It has depth, is multifaceted and reserves that length and bitter finish that only a few can offer. Always a value.

  From another open bottle . Not bad but still far from their peers. Willy used to paint with fine and thin brushstrokes which, in my modest opinion, lost at he end what should represent the whole picture . Too bad because the guy worth and has all the knowledge to do what you want .
  
  De otra botella ya abierta. No está mal pero aún así muy lejos de sus pares. Willy busca una pincelada tan fina y delgada que, en mi modestísima opinión, al final se pierde lo que debería representar el cuadro en su conjunto. Una lástima porque el tipo merece la pena y tiene todo el conocimiento para hacer lo que quiera.

  Better than the last 2008 but still far from what should be a wine from a specific terroir. Assuming that this bottle is representing what really Mouroux can offer you is a tannic and austere wine to which the guard time has affected very little.

  Full of life and surprising depth . Everything starts with a good kick in the nose where red fruit predominates. The palate has shown strong initially but seems to have a tendency to fade quickly.

  It is not the year. After a brilliant 2012 , which I thought was even better than the mythical 2010 it is shown as off bottle nose and mouth, both really unbalanced. Neither it should be provided as a simple sample.

  As in the commercial Pirelli, power without grip it is useless . Much better than the generic but far from the levels reached last year. If rummaging on the positive, it was tasty and has a persistence length but lacking personality or definition. What a pitty.
  It is usually my favorite terroir from Bienvenu but it really is to spend off this year.
  
  Como en el anuncio publicitario de Pirelli, la potencia sin agarre no sirve de nada. Mucho mejor que el genérico pero lejos de las cotas alcanzadas el pasado año. Rebuscando en lo positivo, se mostró sabrosa y con longitud pero carente de persistencia o de personalidad definida. Qué pena.
  Normalmente es mi terruño favorito de Bienvenu pero de verdad que es para pasar este año.

  No subtlety or depth. Only acidity and harshness. Just as the treatment during this visit. Not old or magnums of other vintages bottles sold for those don't praise horrible bottles? Undoubtedly this is a painful business. We note it, merci.
  
  No hay delicadeza ni profundidad. Sólo acidez y aspereza. Lo mismo que el trato dispensado en esta ocasión. ¿No se venden botellas viejas ni magnums de otras añadas a los que no alaban unas botellas horribles? Sin dudas eso es de un comercial penoso. Tomamos nota.

  Surprisingly I liked this time. The austere style but with greater depth and precision . Am I being adduced ? I am surprised but also calm because I have two more bottles. Hopefully this is not be the exception.

  Surprisingly smoked being Palotte but without losing the softness and delicacy and that so characteristic cherry note. It also provides minerality, to limestone. A little diluted in the mouth 'cause it the vintage. Producer keep still in St.Bris which is not a bad thing apparently.
  
  Sorprendentemente ahumada para ser una Palotte pero sin perder esa suavidad y delicadeza a cerezas tan característica en nariz. Además aporta mineralidad, a caliza. Un poco diluido en boca, confiemos que sea por la añada. Productor a seguir aún estando en St.Bris.

  A little rough, off the nose. I detect up an artificial note , how tomatoes? Anyway it is a low profile despite the vintage. The palate is very watery and short. Not too interesting if not only acceptable.

  I expected too much ... back to extra- drying and low extraction style. I prefer to choose that bunch of aromas of rose petals, a wine which, unfortunately, is very short in the mouth, short length.

  Beautiful ruby color with brown tones. Typical nose of cherries, a very average for a generic wine.
  The palate is dense and silky at once. There are length, some complexity, enough acidity and even fruit in the aftertaste and a rich bitter finish. You can not ask for anything more ...
  
  Precioso color rubí con tonos marrones. Nariz típica, a cerezas muy normalita para un vino genérico.
  En boca se muestra densa y sedosa a la vez. Hay longitud, algo de complejidad, bastante acidez e incluso fruta en el retrogusto y un rico amargor final. No se puede pedir más...

  From sample. Finesse allied to power. A beautiful brown almost old port colour. No can ask more of this climat .
  Aromatic perfection where cherries still prevail but without showing an acidity fired. Same good sensations on the palate with elegance and amazing accuracy. By far the best Mazelots 13 and therefore the best bottle of Appeal this year.
  
  Finura aliada al poderío. De un bello color marrón casi de Oporto viejo.No se puede pedir más a este climat.
  Perfección aromática donde las cerezas todavía prevalecen pero sin mostrar una acidez disparada. Mismas buenas sensaciones en boca con elegancia y una precisión sorprendentes. De lejos, el mejor Mazelots 13 y por ende la mejor botella de la Apelación para este año.

  A high class Ratafia here. Rich on the nose where aromas of raisins grape soar. A delight. The palate is delicate and very long . Certainly the best of all the tested. I take two bottles to Madrid.

  Beautiful ruby color. Even being very young seems an interesting generic wine full of aromas of bakery, shot, powder and a mixture of forest berries , red and black , with cherries. The palate is shortie and bitter at once. I do not think it's the best combinations. However a producer to watch.

  Initially the scent of a sweet strawberry jelly combined with moisture well. Not very pleasant although a final licorice and wood pencil smell.

  Raspberries dominate the nose but all with a touch a bit artificial. In the mouth it is slightly diluted, but I like the balanced combination of bitterness, acidity and persistence.
  It may have its site as light wine .

  Colour was very old Rioja-like, brownish with a ruby core. Little timid on the nose, quite expressive and tasty on the palate with a balanced acidity and a lovely aftertaste, very evocative. Also a good length. Very well-aged, I am pleasantly surprised. To watch out.

  Not bad at all on the nose full of pastryshop, fresh yeast notes. On the palate however it is horrible, too much acid, short and a sparkling with such of big bubbles. Any good inside this bottle. Visiting Bailly Cave.

  This bottle is the austere style and drying Carriot wines which is not certainly mine but I appreciate and value.
  A good accompaniment to a homemade roasted chicken with vegetables at Chez Podor.

  After requesting 2006, the chef Alain Renaudin restaurant Les Tilleuls offered me the opportunity to exchange it for the same price from 05 to not find the 06 on hold. A great detail.   Tras solicitar el 2006, el propio chef Alain Renaudin del restaurante Les Tilleuls me ofreció la oportunidad de cambiarla por esta del 05 al mismo precio por no encontrar la del 06 en la bodega. Detallazo. La botella estaba deliciosa con un Chambolle delicado, lleno de aromas maduros a violetas y cassis. En boca bastante largo para su categoría. Maridó un bogavante a la plancha.

  Unbalanced. Acid to the bone. Worse than the worst of Spanish cava . Indigestible. A real torture to drink this sparkling wine now. Home of Podor .

  Shared right at the confluenceof Soufflot and Morts streets in Irancy with Françoise and Pierre along with other guests.
  A kick in the stomach. Ultra - hard and tannic on the palate yet shown on the nose with delicious aromas such carob and lavender. Too much young for a Gigondas...
  
  Compartida en el esquinazo de Soufflot y Morts en Irancy con Françoise y Pierre junto a otros invitados.
  Una patada en el estómago. Duro y ultra-tánico en boca y sin embargo se muestra delicioso en nariz con esos aromas a algarrobas y lavanda. Demasiado pronto para una Gigondas.

  Very simple without much to offer except for a sharp acidity that perfectly accompanied meats, which were offering.

  Muy simplota y sin mucho que ofrecer salvo una acentuada acidez que acompañó perfectamente las viandas que nos iban ofreciendo.

  In Auxerre, at Hippopotamus restaurant, accompanying a 375 grams entrecôte. Soft, very accessible and quite aromatic for what it was. Let us not seek complexity and potential here .
  
  En el restaurante Hippopotamus de Auxerre, acompañando un entrecôte de 375 gramos. Suave, muy accesible y bastante aromática para lo que fue. No busquemos complejidad ni potencial por aquí. Por cierto, originalmente íbamos a un restaurante belga a comer mejillones pero uno de los acompañantes, posiblemente un enfermo mental, decidió que esperar diez minutos para ser servidos era un tiempo excesivo.

  Something authentic from Cyprus full of aromas of coffee bean and sweet carob. On the palate flavours of raisins and figs dominated the scheme.
  I would like a little more definition and persistence.
  Attention, in France they match it with orange cantaloupe melon.
  At Michael's lovely british garden in Irancy.
  
  Una curiosidad de Chipre con aromas a café y algarroba dulce. En boca predominan los sabores a higos y uvas pasas.
  Me gustaría un poco más de definición y persistencia. Atención, en Francia lo maridan con melón cantalupe naranja.
