Very light, almost colourless. Fresh, slightly herbal nose, more intense than one could expect judging by the colour. White grapefruit, green apple, peach and slight creaminess on the palate. Decent wine, terribly young though.
Some oak, slightly oxidative profile, but may be because of the maturity of the wine. Nutty nose, popcorn, rather intense with a hint of peppermint or greenness. Good presence on the palate and overall balance. Must be decanted for better showing.
Golden yellow colour. Sweetish nose of burnt sugar, honey comb, small yellow peach. Full bodied and dry on the palate, pronounced accidity, even punchy, complex, clearly oxiadtive and dividing in style. I happen to love it.
Transparent, brownish colour, seems older than it is, but I haven't had many mature Baga wines, so don't know how representative it is. Dried Spanish sausage on the nose, very smoky. High accidity, cranberries on the palate, very mature and overall interesting. Nose develops some not so pleasant notes, that let's me think the wine was borderline faulty, so no score.
Bright plummy violet colour with a clear meniscus. Still quite oaky, intensely brambly nose, vanilla, peppery and may be even jammy. Expressively rich palate, grippy tannins. This was of a very high quality, but I am not sure it has a sense of place, seemed to be of international style. Would be nice to compare it directly with some other wines of different regions. Also it is still quite young, it can surely wait for some more years.
Dark but transparent intensely purple red colour. Jammy vanilla, brambly fruit, noticeable tannin, very good balance, but too young and in your face for my liking.
