Light. Some CO2. Very nice summer drinker.

Petrol/oily nose. Initially finish was very bitter. Didn't care for it. Blossomed fantastically over time. Opened up with layers and layers on the mid-palate and a long, wonderful complex finish.
CORKED

Classic left-bank Bordeaux nose. Nicely balanced. Tannins integrated. A bit hollow on the mid-palate.
Badly CORKED.
Nice. Pencil lead (Kevin identified it - and it was right on). Long finish.
Not corked, but clearly off. I've had this many times before and it's a good wine, but tonight it was awful.
Big syrah. Good underlying structure for this style.
Very nice. Surprisingly dark and fresh for its age. (I guessed 2001.) Solid cab.
Off. Terrible.
Ugh. I hope this was off - otherwise this is a terrible wine.
Nice. Brown sugar. A bit hot - which makes it hard to drink much of it.
