Introduction

During two hours with Asher, we tasted 4 great wines with a Coravin
La Spinetta showed some cork leakage which explained the high level of oxidation - nevertheless the wine opened up and was enjoyable
The other were excellent

    Straw golden yellow colour
    Fine present white tropical fruits aroma, pineapple and mineral notes
    Silky full bodied, rich white fruits flavors, bitter salty mineral, structured, complexed, excellent harmony & acidity level, well balanced, long quality aftertaste.

    Italy, Piedmont, Langhe, Barbaresco

    transparent light red-brown with amber rim
    ripe tertiary fruity-leathery-earhty aromas with spicy hints, very feminine, seems quite oxidised
    med-full bodied, soft, fine, noble, rich, complex, firm integrated tannins, nice amount of fruits and acidity, excellent harmony, long and seductive finish. excellent wine even though it is more oxidised than expected, most likely to a cork-rupture and signs of wine leakage

    ripe fruity nose with typical earthy-tertiary notes
    medium bodied, excellent balance & harmony, tar, grip-firm tannins, well structured and complexed, requires long minutes to open up.
