Limpid white golden colour; crisp acidity, pyrazines and a hint of peach on the nose, juicy but dry and with enlivening bitters, light to medium body, clean flavours, hint of blackcurrant, good length.
Big (14.5% ABV) and full Chardonnay, ripe and juicy fruit, well-judged oak, lovely balance, good length but a little dull on the finish, hint of back-end heat. Solid and satisfying rather than precise or nuanced.
Youthful cherry colour; enticing nose of coffee, amarena cherries and violets, good depth; the palate displays nice tension between sweet cherries and lively bitters from the skins, tight but with juicy fruit; good length.
Quite Port-like, ripe fruit, spices, oxidative note, elegantly sweet, firm tannic structure, fresh, strawberries, not complex but good length. Looking at other TN's, this was perhaps not a perfect bottle.
