A mature bottle, some 5y of post disgorgement aging. Darker than a young bottle, golden hue. Fat, milky nose. PN character which it gained from aging. Quite yeasty, autolytic aromas, also very creamy with a lemony note. Lovely.
Recently disgorged. Bubbles remain on the side of the glass not unlike Prosecco. Steely, light feel, quite elegant smoky citrus on the nose. Also - cold hard candy and oat flakes. Rather lean, I expected this to be fatter and more rustic.
France, Burgundy, Côte de Beaune, Meursault 1er Cru
Initially cold and steely, needs time to open up in the glass. Right from the bat it seemed that alcohol was elevated here. Classic, buttery feel with fennel and cold buckwheat on the nose. Alcohol bite on the finish. Seemed somewhat bare, may be closed though. I expected more.
Very intense and fat green nose, also oak, butter, more pungent than Meursault. It is also rich, but excellent balance, holds well together. There's also sauerkraut and pickle. Quite pungent overall. Hold.
Lighter than Burgundy. Sweet confectionery, lush fruits, pleasant sweetness. But it also has a leafy-steamy side, which makes it more interesting overall.
Not in your face, but still rich black cherry. New oak evident, but lovely restraint character. Tannins quite pungent at the moment, also somewhat untamed and harsh on the nose, inky and young. Overall seemed closed at the moment, hold for sure.
Very dark, is Megapurple used here? Pronounced oat flakes, Cellog's, buckwheat on the nose. More jammy than Brane Cantenac 2010 we had alongside. Concentrated juice, sweet, lower accidity than Bordeaux.
Cold dark cherries, concentrated juicy nectar as well as tobacco and tobacco ash. Loved this, much more open and giving compared to Malescot St Exupery 1999.
Violets, flowers, some rubber (like fresh plastic cards), hint of manure, also hay, overall quite intense and fat nose. Light bodied, seems to have low alcohol. Develops aromas of beetroots and capsicum as well as marinade and greenness (US oak?). Overall very nice and still lively wine.

A bit overripe, smoky, some rotten leaves, forest floor, handwriting of a biodynamic winemaker. Alcohol is unbalanced, plush and big wine.

Animals, wet autumnal forest. Quite a classic mature Bordeaux. Nice enough but not too interesting overall. On top now, drink.
