Game night (Helvetia), Beer and Mead

Last night I crossed town for Game Night at George O's. The Game was Helvetia. As usual, at the end of the game I was only one turn from understanding what the game was about. :-) Anyway, the beers were excellent.

• 2016 Firestone Walker Helldorado

  USA, California, Central Coast, Paso Robles

  Lighter in color. Good intensity. I would have preferred a bit more flavor but others really liked it more than I. Still, 4/5

  Nice chocolaty nose. A bit too much hops on the finish. Great body. All in all, a very excellent beer. 4.25/5

  Nice enough. Not worth the money ($18 for a large bottle). Its solid but needs more of everything. A bit too many hops for my tastes as well.
