Very young. Ripe and opulent nose of slate and lime peel. Gorgeous purity beautiful palace and texture. Finishes with a lengthy and modulated finish. This is excellent for an entry level wine. Will improve. 89+++
Very ripe and varietal, with a touch of residual sugar. Thick and concentrated palate. Some bottle age character coming through. Quite honied and off-dry. This is well balanced, in terms of flirting with sugar/acid/ripenes, etc.. This is very fine, but not to my taste.
Smokey, spicy, candy cane, some pinot character. Nice sense of verve on the palate and a very smokey finish. Slightly oxidative in style. It is tasty, but not memorable. Feels quite new world.
Typical rose petal and lychee nose. Lifted talcum top notes. Nice acid cut, suave texture and a touch of bacon fat. Like the other entry level wines of Albert Mann, this is quite wonderful.

Simple wine, touch of SO2. Nice presence and balance in the mouth. Dry palate, with hints of herbal green apples.

Very varietal - stone fruits, mineral, lifted and herbal. Top notes of talcum. Very dry style. Excellent, in a dry and etherial manner.

Round and very sweet. Opulent, thick and long. Creamy and intense mouthfeel. Lovely sense of bacon fat nuance. Slightly low acid balance.

2012 Albert Mann Gewurztraminer Altenbourg Vendanges Tardives 90 Points
France, Alsace
Compared to the 2013 Steingrubler, this has a more subdued nose. Certainly a botrytis influenced, late harvest style. Modern and very clean.
