(Disgorged in 2007) Lovely yellow colour with fine and tiny bubbles. Beautiful mature nose showing hazelnuts, minerals, lemon and chocolate in a very refined and lovely way. Palate is very creamy with a an acidity typical for the vintage and with a refined smooth finish showing some oak and lemon. This was drinking perfectly together with foie gras with truffle on butter toast bread. This cuvée is drinking wonderful right now, but will certainly live for at least another decade!
(One bottle disgorged in 2016-06 and another 2015-09) Yellow colour with a youthful nose dominated by yeast and baked bread on the more recent disgorgement. The older disgorgement was more nuanced showing nougat, minerals and citrus notes as well, still in a youthful way. Palate was rather austere and dominated by unripe apples and with a long nice lemon peel finish. These two bottles where showing some potential, but I feel that they both are still very young and the one disgorged in June 2016 was showing post-disgorgement stress and would probably be much better in six months or so. Still lots of potential, even though it's lacking some of the high acidity that so many other 2008's have.
Bay leafes, smokiness, cherries and meat. Youthfully fruityness with a fresh acidic touch. nice lenght and youthful austerity. Drinking really well already, but can keep for more length and maturity on the palate.

Hints of burnt rubber, white pepper and bay leafs already drinking fine with food, but should reward some extra cellaring.

Green olives, white pepper and herbs. Softening tannins with lots of fruit show for a long life ahead.

Herbal notes, pepper and warm fruit with lots of oak in the finish. Still feeling rather youthful.

Warm blackberries, fallen leafs and mint with a very intensive long sweet finish. Can definitely keep longer in the cellar. Best wine of the night!
