Nice weight here, quite dense and viscous texture, but a mineral line and lightness through the finish. Long. Richer and fuller than the 13 alongside. ****

Fuller, deeper, redder than the 08. Rounder and glossier, this is really quite poised and stylish. Padded without being podgy. Long and starting to show some complexity. ****

Really feral when first poured. Quite the wrong end of a fox. However, after fifteen minutes this blows off to reveal a very interesting wine with lots of sweet fruit, depth and complexity. Silky with some depth and elegance allied To a plushness. Lovely balance. ****

Just lovely. A touch of oak, oatmeal, a hint of something herbal and a dollop of whipped butter. Very precise on the attack, opening to a more expansive and nuanced mid palate, and finishing long with a cut and linearity. Note quite the extra depth and grip of the Coche D version, but gorgeous. ****1/2
Mid to deep ruby. Lovely depth of mid red fruit in the raspberry to mulberry spectrum. Just starting to show a hint of truffle development. Lovely on the palate, silky, with precise fruit and a bit of extra width from the emerging tertiary flavours. Drinking beautifully but still a youngster. Serious wine. ****1/2

A little lighter and more elegant, and slightly more herbal than the 14 alongside. Opens up in the glass and rounds out well again, lovely. ****
