Wonderfully classical Amontillado in a lighter and very elegant style, completely dry, tangy acidity and chalky minerality, candied fruit, flowers and nuts, hint of sour butter (like a Palo Cortado), very good length.
Stylish, steely, lemons, hint of yeasty richness from the batonnage, lovely balance and minerality, touch of stone fruit, aromatic green herbs (chervil?) good length. Overall, this is a lovely, crisp Chardonnay, with a modicum of Chablis typicity, but competent rather than really exciting.
Juicy, medium sweet, modern, tropical fruit, gentle oak influence brings attractive bitters. Perfectly serviceable but hard to distinguish from a good Sauternes.
