  Predominance of calcareous aromas inviting totally my nose. Red fruits anf yeast in the mouth. Very very young. The date of disgorgement is unknown.
  Unlike her sister Rosé, it's usually never my choice.
  
  Predominancia de aromas calcáreos que invaden totalmente la nariz. Frutas rojas en levadura en boca. Muy muy joven. No se sabe la fecha de degüelle.
  Al contrario que su hermana rosé, normalmente nunca es mi elección.

  Very nice accompanying vintage but with a refreshing acidity and a determined depth and length. A surprise for how evolved it is.

• 2013 Vinding Montecarrubo Terre Siciliane Rosé for Family & Friends

  A cloudy and pink colour. Like a natural wine. It deceives its origin with an acidity and very outstanding tannins. In the nose is a puding of strawberries. Surely better with food.

• 2013 Bodegas Volver Monastrell Tarima Hill Old Vines

  Correct without further ado with a somewhat intrusive Monastrell. In the mouth disappears immediately. An astringent wine.

  Served by the glass from a magnum bottle. Monastrell at its highest. Powerful but with flavor and the kindness it provides softened by new French wood.
  Density in the mouth is remarkable and its persistence almost eternal.
  Forget RP points.
  
  Monastrell en sí punto álgido. Potente pero con sabor y la amabilidad que proporciona suavizar se en madera francesa nueva.
  La densidad en boca es remarcable y su persistencia casi eterna.

• NV Billecart-Salmon Champagne Grand Cru Brut Blanc de Blancs

  Served from an open bottle almost without bubbles which is not all bad.
  Much brioche this time in the nose with a nice saline note. Good mineral.
  In the mouth short but it follows what it really is on the nose: tasty and elegant.
  On the palate it keeps pushing but lacks a final breath.
  
  Servida de una botella abierta casi sin burbujas lo que no es del todo malo.
  Mucho brioche esta vez en nariz con una agradable nota salina. Bien mineral.
  En boca se queda corto pero sigue ese patrón de la nariz: sabroso y elegante.
  En boca sigue empujando pero le falta un arreón final.

• NV Laurent-Perrier Champagne Ultra Brut

  From a bottle theoretically opened yesterday. After the BdB this is rough, almost rustic with very direct with its calcareous scents. Stone of a dried river also. Exaggerated bitterness. Not as much dry I expected. Dosage 10 g/l.
  
  De una botella teóricamente abierta ayer. Después del BdB se muestra tosco, casi rústico con unos aromas calcáreos muy directos. Piedra de río también. Exagerado amargor. No tan seco como hubiese esperado.

• 2011 Domaine Denis Bachelet Bourgogne

  This producer reminds me Emilio Rojo: a genius for those who appreciate his wines and overrated bottles for those who do not understand them.
  Depth and class are evident .. It smells like Gevrey, it smells like Denis, that is, that red fruit in butter that so much likes CC MV. Freshness of stock of aerated cattle by the marine wind, close to the sea. I love the umami effect that has this producer with those odors seaweed-like.
  A bit intrusive in the mouth if you want a defect.
  I'm not convinced by this vintage; reserved and stingy. Here there is much more behind that glimpse of greenery.
  I like its persistence on the palate but it dissipates too fast. In spite of this how much nice this wine is ...
  
  Este productor me recuerda a Emilio Rojo: un genio para los que aprecian sus vinos y unos caldos sobrevalorados para los que no los entienden. Sí, caldos.
  Profundidad y clase evidentes.. Huele a Gevrey, huele a Denis es decir, esa fruta roja en mantequilla que tanto gusta al maestro CC. Frescor de lonja de ganado aireada por el viento marino (Santander). Me encanta el efecto umami que tiene este productor con esos olores q algas.
  Un poco intrusiva en boca.
  No me convence la añada; reservada y tacaña. Aquí hay mucho mas detrás de ese atisbo de verdor.
  Me gusta su persistencia al paladar pero se disipa demasiado rápido. Aún así qué rico está este vino ...

  Served by the glass from a new bottle. Honeyed wild apricots on the nose
  Elegant and inspiring. Dense and quite long for what it is. Perfect balance between acidity and sweetness.
  Jamón de bellota fat even. Wonderful.
  
  Servido por copas de una botella nueva. En nariz notas de unos melosos albaricoques salvajes.
  Elegante e inspirador. Denso y bastante largo para lo que es. Perfecto equilibrio entre acidez y dulzor.
  Incluido nota a grasa de jamón de bellota. Maravilloso.

  Served by the glass from a yesterday opened bottle. Absolutely ready accompanying this vintage actually but with acidity and good length.
  It will still progress in the next few years. Dosage 8 g/l.

NV Champagne Drappier BdB

• NV Drappier Champagne Blanc de Blancs Brut

  What I liked the most is that aroma of empty oyster shells. Very stony, very mineral. Also tropical white fruit and a steely sensation.
  Too much obvious bubbles which are better if disappear sooner than later letting a vigorous vinous mouthfeel. Good length. Bitter aftertaste. Overall a beautiful BdB.
  
  Lo que más me gustó es el aroma a conchas de ostras vacías. Muy pedregoso, muy mineral. También fruta blanca tropical y una sensación de acero.
  Burbujas demasiado obvias que son mejores si desaparecen antes que después dejando una vigorosa sensación vinosa. Buena longitud. Regusto amargo. En general una bonita BdB.
