2016 Uvaggio (L'Uvaggio di Giacomo) Vermentino 88 Points

Floral and fresh with a lovely acid balance. The nose is mildly apricot, the body has some weight, the finish is nicely lingering. The alcohol is only 12%, bought some for the summer but will consume before the fall. Nice value.

Have had this several time and always liked it. 12.5% alcohol. Delicate slightly floral nose, with lovely acid balance and texure and an slightly sweet-sour exit. Seems to be aging well.

2014 Bokisch Vineyards Tempranillo 88 Points

This wine is really focused on oak, buttery oak with a hint of cherries, the oak is soft and mostly integrated. Drinks well but the Tempranillo personality is dominated by the oak. Well balanced and slightly tannic I like it, but as a nicely oaked red rather than a Tempranillo.

13.8% Still the best Viognier I have had in a long time. Complex floral ester nose, mildly apricot, excellent acid balance.

Beautiful color and signs of prior beauty, but this rose was somewhat wilted by time, and although still drinkable it was past it's sell by date.

Mildly catty and fresh. Excellent and accessible acid balance, good viscosity and a lovely finish. Really liked everything except the price which at $30 was too much, there are plenty of similarly nice wines below $20.
