  Herbal, citric, closer to the Loire than to central Burgundy.
  Lemony Chardonnay on the palate with a central freeway and a pungent, stony finish. C'est pas mal.
  
  Herbáceo, cítrico, más cerca del Loira que del centro de Borgoña.
  Limonada de Chardonnay en el paladar con una autopista central ácida y un final picante y pedregoso. C'est pas mal.

  Coravined. A bit turbid but on fit. Plenty aromatic with that sherry smell of old barriques.
  Long, savoury with the perfect dosses of acid waves. Always my choice

  Proverbial softness we were looking for is in the glass also that wet cotton sensation.
  Little shortie on the palate although a good acidity is playing here.
  I would like a bit more of everything, just more depth.

  Un poco cortito al paladar aunque aquí juega una buena acidez.
  Me gustaría un poco más de todo, más profundidad.

  Coravined. A very good Syrah indeed. Profound peppery and with a sense of terroir. Long, tightly acid, perfectly balanced.

  Clean and softie on the palate. Smells a cucumber-like on the nose. Terroir and red berries in yoghourt in the mouth. Good spine. Balanced and savoury. Perfect for what it is.
  
  Limpio y suave al paladar. Huele a pepino en la nariz. Terroir y frutos rojos en yogur en boca. De un buen espinazo. Equilibrado y sabroso. Perfecto para lo que es.

  Coravin acted again. Little cloudy. That well-known aroma of horse sweat. Also coal mineral. This time I founded shortie for what it used to be, vintage? Strawberries and that kind of terroir but lacks its proverbial intensity. Coravin didn't work properly , may I insist?
  
  Coravin actuó de nuevo. Un poco nublado. Ese conocido aroma del sudor de los caballos. También mineral de carbón. Esta vez lo encontré un poco corto al paladar por lo que solía ser, ¿la añada? Las fresas y ese tipo de terroir siguen ahí pero sin la proverbial intensidad. Coravin no funcionó correctamente, ¿puedo insistir?

  Trés obvious varietal but with an elegant, honeyed texture. Also thyme notes. Balanced between structure and acidity. For what it is, just perfect.
  
  Muy obvia varietal pero con una textura elegante, melosa. También notas a tomillo. Equilibrado entre estructura y acidez. Por lo que es, simplemente perfecto.

  Coravined and once again an evolved wine mainly on the nose where cupboard memories triumph over honeyed, hawthorn blossom flower. Bloody argon gas and it's supposed neutrality. On the palate showed its real qualities: honeyed texture but with an astringent touch. Nothing rounded here.
  
  Servido mediante Coravin y, una vez más, un vino evolucionado principalmente en nariz, donde los recuerdos de los armarios triunfan sobre los de melosos, aunque resiste la flor del espino. Maldito gas argón y eso que se le supone neutralidad. En boca mostró sus cualidades reales: textura melosa pero con un toque astringente. No está redondo.

  By the glass at Willi's Bar.. Acid and light. Herbaceous and with a saline note on the nose. The palate is smooth and medium-bodied. Long thanks to a sharp acidity. Ideal for aperitif.
  
  Por copas. Ácido y ligero. Herbáceo y con una nota salina en nariz. En boca es de textura suave y de medio cuerpo. Largo gracias a una afilada acidez. Ideal para comenzar.

  Served by the glass at Willi's bar. Mineral on the nose with memories of aniseed and lemon rind without confit.
  Delicious bitterness that stretches to the aftertaste which provides balance and length. Without complications. Ready to be enjoyed.

  By the glass at Willi's Bar. Too young to be enjoyed right now. Mineral, drying and sharply acid to the palate at this time. The nose is moderately lactic and herbaceous. Mature citrus fruits will have to wait.
  Seriously I have doubts the best is yet to come.
  
  Por copas. Demasiado joven como para poder ser disfrutado ahora mismo. Mineral, secante y afiladamente ácido al paladar en estos momentos. En nariz se muestra moderadamente láctico y herbáceo. Tengo serias dudas que lo mejor esté por llegar. Los cítricos maduros tendrán que esperar.

  An entire bottle at Macéo in Paris. They don't have this wine in the wine list if the restaurant but requested at its little brother Willi's. Very pure. Cherry and humid earth. Perfectly balance between acidity and that watery structure. Long enough to feel its cold steel in the aftertaste. Class in the glass for those who still appreciate a good bottle of Irancy. Vintage shows more elegance in the glass. This time I can say properly that the best is really yet to come.
  
  Una botella entera en el restaurante Macéo. Tradicionalmente dejo el culín para que lo disfrute el servicio.
  Muy puro. Cereza y tierra húmeda. Equilibrio perfecto entre acidez y estructura acuosa. Con la longitud suficiente para sentir su frío acero en el retrogusto. Clase en la copa para aquellos que aún aprecian una buena botella de Irancy. Añada que muestra más elegancia en copa. Esta vez puedo afirmar que lo mejor está por llegar.

Still my kind of Bar but same labels after an entire year. I like the atmosphere but the business is changing, including the logo even the name. Sadly.

  Waiter said he love that whites from the south of burgundy when they really come from the south of burgundy. So he has serious doubts about that. Onedimensional white until that lovely bitter aftertaste suddenly arrives. Nothing special anyway.
  
  El camarero dice que le encantan estos blancos "del sur de la Borgoña si es que son del sur de la Borgoña" poniéndolo en duda. Un vino blanco intrascendente hasta que llega ese regusto amargo que salva el día. Nada especial de todas maneras.

  Stony and quite short, bad combination. Aromas of pear in syrup that have none sense here. This wine Leflaive the dry side to become an off dry caracther with a sweet aftertaste. The horror in an Aligoté form.
  
  Pedregoso y corto, mala combinación. Aromas a pera en sirope que no sé qué hacen aquí. Este vino dejo de ser seco para tener un regusto dulzón. El horror en forma de aligoté.

  It is of that kind of wines that they're soft to the limit then become imperceptible on both, nose and palate. Just a touch of wild strawberries. No depth, length either. It's preferent destiny is to be served on the French family tables.
  
  Es tan suavecito que se convierte en imperceptible tanto en nariz como al paladar. Un poco de fresitas silvestres y ya está. Sin longitud ni profundidad. Lo suyo es vivir en la superficie, preferentemente en las mesas familiares francesas.

  Daniel Couston is the vigneron in charge but who cares?
  I ask a glass coz that name but nothing really happened after. No sense of terroir, too much soft on the nose with an extraordinary nonsense length and a watery finish. There're addicts of this kind of things for sure.
  
  Daniel Couston es el propietario y elaborador que aparece en la etiqueta pero ¿a quién le importa? Especialmente en CT ...
  Lo pides por ese nombre y nada sucede. Sin sentido del terruño, demasiado suave en nariz, con una extraordinaria longitud que no va a ninguna parte y un final acuoso. Seguramente hay adictos a este tipo de cosas.

  Artificial medicinal note mixed with dried leaves of poppies. Acid without depth with an aftertaste of grapefruit. Forgettable.

  Is this really PG? There are no mineral or almost citrus notes. It is only saved by a salivating acidity. Daily wine for Kurtz.

  Recognizable nose of an Extremaduran wine? It could be anywhere but there are memories of tempranillo. Red berries submerged in yogurt with new wood that needs to be integrated. Tannic, heavy and with oak on the palate which gives it a certain length. Little more.
  
  ¿Reconocible nariz a un vino extremeño? Podría ser de cualquier parte pero hay memorias de tempranillo. Frutillos rojos sumergidos en yogurt con madera nueva que necesita integrarse. Tanico, pesado y con roble al paladar lo que le proporciona cierta longitud. Poco más.

  Tons of new wood hiding Tempranillo aromas.
  Bizarre notes of anisette or just the staff has been cleaning the glasses with soap recently? Anyway tannic and astringent on the palate. The horror.

  The only bottle available in an airport VIP lounge (!), In France (!!), But what the hell is this? In short, not yet recovered from such shock I am willing to taste this wine, with high aromas of strawberries and new wood on the nose. Rough and tannic on the palate with a drying aftertaste from such a large amount of wood. A little gem at the height of the Kurtz's collection.
  
  La única botella disponible en una sala VIP de aeropuerto(!), en Francia (!!) ¿pero qué coño es esto? En fin, aún no repuesto de semejante shock me dispongo a catar este vino peleón, con marcados aromas a fresas y a madera nueva en nariz. Áspero y tánico al paladar con un postgusto secante procedente de semejante cantidad de madera. Una joyita a la altura de la colección de Kurtz.

• 2017 Château Georges Vin de France Rosé de Georges

  Suddenly after a kind request to the only girl in charge at the Icare lounge, an opened bottle of rosé wine appears in the refrigerator, side by side with yoghurt. Sadly it is coming from the same producer so elegance lives miles away. Short on the palate with any significant aspect. On the nose it is absolutely neutral just a note of pomelo. Kurtz has bottles with more substance
  
  De repente, después de una amable solicitud a la única chica al cargo en el salón de Ícaro, una botella abierta de vino rosado aparece en el refrigerador, al lado del yogur. Lamentablemente, proviene del mismo productor, por lo que la elegancia vive a muchos kilómetros. Corto en boca sin ningún aspecto significativo. En nariz es absolutamente neutral solo una nota de pomelo. Kurtz tiene botellas con más sustancia.

  Small amount of dried herbs and anisette memories on the nose. Similar story on the palate lacking elegance and depth. Just a bitter, refreshing finish. I am far away from this.
  
  Pequeña cantidad de hierbas secas y de anisete en nariz. Una historia similar al paladar careciendo de elegancia y de profundidad. Solo un refrescante y amargo final. Estoy muy lejos de todo esto.

• 2017 Domaine de Bourg Neuf Saumur-Champigny La Butte à Ricasseau

  After the real thing of Clos Rougeard last afternoon, this wine was thin and less complex. However, the result is a recognizable Saumur-Champigny with yoghurt scents of blueberries, violets rand white pepper. Not on the delicate side but soft and accessible. On the palate is a bit rough, dry yet creamy sample. Unfortunately also short and lack of depth. Pretty good for what it is.
  
  Después de lo real de Clos Rougeard de la tarde pasada, este vino era delgado y menos complejo. Sin embargo, el resultado es un Saumur-Champigny reconocible con aromas de yogur de arándanos, violetas y pimienta blanca. No en el lado delicado pero suave y accesible. En boca es una muestra un poco áspera, seca pero cremosa. Corto y falta de profundidad. Bastante bien para lo que es.
