Decent meal standing out arroz a banda. Nice service and professional staff. Overall 13/20.

Absurdly one of the best easy-wine-list in town. From Emilio Rojo (no more) to White Burgundies, some rare Portugueses too. Sounds pretty damn good.
Finally I drank Saint Romain and bought a bottle of white Dão (Druida).

  Pale straw colour. Hawthorn flower, citrus and minerals on the nose. Five years on and still typically direct. Initially very cold in the mouth which prevented it from manifesting freely. Texture with a certain density, tasty, dry with a long and bitter finish. Not bad for what it is. It’s not hard to get good quality/price ratio in St. Romain.
  
  Pálido color pajizo. Flor de espino, cítricos y minerales en nariz. Típico y todavía directo con cinco años. Inicialmente muy frio en boca lo que impedía que se manifestase libremente. Textura con cierta densidad, sabroso, seco y de un final largo y amargo. Nada mal para lo qué es. No es difícil obtener buenas relaciones calidad/precio en St.Romain.

• NV Taylor (Fladgate) Porto 10 Year Old Tawny

  This bottle was opened when Flanders was Spanish. Served in a glass of cognac (!). Melted caramel on the nose, slightly laminated with notes of sour cream and roasted nuts and sandalwood. Extraordinary complexity for what it is and how it was preserved. On the palate it is less harmonious and more direct, more alcoholic.Sweetness is nothing but a shadow. Moderate length and shallow depth although it perfectly fulfills its role.
  
  Botella abierta cuando Flandes era español. Servida en una copa de cognac. Caramelo fundido en nariz ligeramente plastificado con notas a nata agria y a frutos secos tostados y a sándalo. Extraordinaria complejidad para lo que es y cómo está conservado.al paladar es menos armónico y mas directo, más alcohólico. Moderada longitud y escasa profundidad aunque cumple a la perfección su papel.

  Synthetic closure. Unusual blend. Muscatel grapes protrude on the nose with mellow notes and a herbaceous blow. Soft in the mouth with a sweet touch. Citrus acidity of the Gtraminer without depth nor even length. My mother liked it. I don’t add anything else.
  
  Cierre sintético. Mezcla inusual. La uva moscatel sobresale en nariz con notas melosas y un golpe herbáceo. Suave en boca con un toque dulce. Acidez cítrica de la Gtraminer sin profundidad ni apenas longitud. Le gustó a mi madre. No añado nada más.
