A blend of 69% Pinot Noir and 31% Chardonnay, disgorged December 2017, without dosage and without added sulphur. Organic viticulture. A very crisp, energetic and tightly wound wine, very minerally but ripe even in this cooler vintage, apple and lemon, floral notes, very good length.
Salmon pink colour with a touch of orange; quite full-bodied and quite weighty with its 14.5% ABV, soft but fresh, lemon curd, flowers and candy, crushed red berries and bitter orange, finished with some back-end heat. I prefer Pascal's (12.5% ABV) rosé in this vintage.
