    Watery yellow color, aromatic pear, honey, wet stones, touch of petrol. Off dry, medium body, smooth acid and flavorful apples on the palate. Nice tartness, medium finish. Good wine, good QPR.

    Pale salmon color, tight nose of strawberry, raspberry and some bubblegum. Some fizz. Off dry, light body, smooth acid. Flavorful fake red fruit, gum, twizzler and skittles. Medium finish. Strange bitterness, awkward. Meh.

    Medium purple color, moderate nose of cherry, red fruit, banana and veg. Medium body, tart acid and low dry tannins. Moderate flavors of bitter cherry. Slightly off. Short finish. Hot with a hollow mid-palate.

  • 2006 Bogle Vineyards Pinot Noir 87 Points

    Medium ruby red color, moderate nose of funk, peat, forest floor, tobacco, cedar and dill. Wonderful nose. Medium body with crisp acid, medium round tannins and flavorful palate of spice, peat, tobacco, cherry, wood and a touch of bitterness. Long finish. Big acid, nice non-fruit flavors. Complex if a touch of heat, needs to air out.

    Deep purplish ruby color. Aromatic blackberry, pepper/spice, floral, menthol and some heat. Big dark fruit. Medium full body, lively acid and high dry tannins. Flavorful blackberry, spice and plum. Hot. Long finish. A bit tart, but big spice. Pretty yummy. Need some time to open up.
