Yellow colour with a stream of very fine bubbles. Lovely maturity on the nose showing butter, vanilla and some citrus notes. Opens up in the glass showing a touch of herbs. Still showing a very high citrus acidity and with a very nice and smooth mid part and with a lovely buttery and creamy mixture on the lengthy finish. Nice and intense with a typicality of the vintage, but in a more fresh way, especially if left to open up for some time.

2008 Hatt et Söner Champagne Brut Millésimé 91 Points
France, Champagne
(100% Chardonnay, dosage 6 gr/l)
Yellow colour with a stream of bubbles in the glass and with a pleasant nose showing roasted coffee notes, almond and fresh baked bread. Palate is filled with austere grapefruit acidity filled with minerals hiding the fruitiness still on the lengthy finish. Opens up in the glass and fades out a bit quicker than I expected, but still drinking very nicely.

Deep yellow colour with a stream of fine bubbles also showing a wonderful nose with roasted coffee, butter and grapefruit notes in a delicious maturing way. Dried fruit and with a refreshing grapefruit citrus acidity on the palate. Opens up on the lengthy finish with a refreshing zesty bitterness and some fruitiness as well. This is still showing a nice intensity on the palate and of course focused on citrus acidity from the vintage.
