What more can we add for this beautiful wine. We have had it more than a dozen times and really now it is at peak and does not seem to be letting go. Beautiful balance, very pretty nose, soft toast, bright and energetic but also very polished and ever so elegant . An easy 94 again.

Three very consistent bottles. Ever so young and still with so much puppy fat to burn through and frankly the oak is a bit on the heavier side than it needs to be at this age especially. Bright and full of energy still, bright wine, stone fruits, light floral more oaky though with the full on dynamics there, honey, vanilla and buttery texture. Lots of life ahead here and would love to see this once it evolves more. 92 for now

Finally this wine has arrived. We have had this a few times in the past ( Papies 90-92 and some inconsistent ones) so we were a bit worried alas fear no more. At the tender age of 17 this has evolved nicely , earthy, secondary notes blend well with darkish fruit, soft smoky and polished. Beautiful wine and an easy 93 and good to see this old friend in such a good place. Lots of life ahead too here.
This is now fullly ready . We decanted for a good hour and was needed and very happy to have picked it for this event. Well evolved , full on earthy, soft leather and still very much healthy fruit. The palate is well evolved, the tannin all silky and felt so ready now. For sure it has more life ahead but drinks so nice now just push this through!
Frankly a very pretty one albeit a second wine from a questionable vintage. Subtle, round , rich straight to the point beautiful sauternes with all the hallmarks, apricots , honey and just a pretty unassuming little number. Good 90-92
