Lovely golden yellow colour with a very pleasant nose showing ripe apples, oily lemon zest and some herbs in a very pleasant way. Smoothing candied lemons acidity on the maturing palate with a creamy mid before the pleaaant hint of tarragon licorice on the delicious finish. This was still very youthful and should reward further improvement in the cellar for another decade!
(Still very youthful with 15 years in the cellar)

(Disgorged in February 2015, base year 2008 without reserves, 100% Chardonnay from Cramant)
Lovely lemons, chalk and minerals on the tight and youthful nose with a nice and acidic candied lemon citrus driven palate. Smoothing finish where the youthful citrus acidity comes back again. Still very tight and focused on youthful citrus notes, should get better with some more cellar time..

Mature rounder nose showing warm fruit, some oak and licorice in a pleasant way. Smoothing tannins with a fruitful sweetness on the palate showing herbs and some licorice on the lengthy finish. This has evolved very well and has reached its drinking window now, but there’s still something funky on the nose.

Youthful and fruitful with hip roses, licorice and some fresh herbs in a pleasant way, still showing a tight palate with very aggressive tannins that need time to settle and with a balanced body with lots of primary fruit. This should reward more years to open up in the cellar.
