As the 2017 is the brand new vintage, we wanted to check, how the 2017 compares to the 2015. To us, the Ardanza is a wine with a fantastic qpr among Spanish wines, especially Rioja. If you watch the market carefully, you can get these wines for an amount below 23 €.
The 2017 integrates well in the flight of all Ardanza wines but (as one might expect) needs some time to fully integrate / develop its palate.
Looking forward to a bright Ardanza future. :)
2015 La Rioja Alta Rioja Viña Ardanza Reserva 93 Points
Spain, La Rioja, La Rioja Alta, Rioja
Fantastic nose, full of vanilla, tanin sweetness, quite developed, however, the body shows that the wine could be aged further to be fully enjoyable. However, a fantacstic qpr. Dońt miss it!

2017 La Rioja Alta Rioja Viña Ardanza Reserva 92 Points

Beautiful nose from the very beginning, did not change a lot with air. However, the palate was a bit underdeveloped, compared to the 2015.
