Moderately pronounced nose of petrol and slate. Medium-sweet on the palate with notes of peach along with those mentioned on the nose. Alcohol is low; body is medium; acidity was not as high as I might have liked for a German Riesling. Finish was a little lacking. Pleasant enough, but not great.

In terms of cost-to-quality ratio, this is an excellent little wine in a big jug. Classic zinfandel nose and more restrained than the high-octane zinfandels that routinely go for $20 more per bottle. A tremendous value.
