Strong, yet smooth tannins? Yes. Swallowed, deep breath and you feel more berries, sweet liqourice and cherry? Yes. Could it be missing something? Okanagan cherries, too bad. |

Quite accessible now but will be a complete wine with time although the subtle fruits suggest closure in the near future. A fine example of Pessac Leognan. |

Oaky, hints of mint, harmonius with a strong tannin in a decent finish. I don't drink much Pichon Lalande, but this owns the hallmark of a very classy paulliac. Stood out from the rest of the paulliac appellation at this tasting. |

Just like a dinosaur breaking its shell, we cannot forsee how it may be. Huge nose, before you even bendover its already there. Flora/fauna, jams, tropic fruits, subtropic fruits, french fruits, some fruits. Huge tannins, big finish that produces fruitloops. |

Light minty cocoa, sweet lemon, white peach, gravely soil flavours and new oak with a high concentration of alcohol. But it is so nicely balance and integrated that the alcohol nor the oak stand out. Its like a flower in bloom, over 1 hour this wine evolves constantly! One can only imagine what a few more years down might yield. 92+ |
