7/14/2019 - rfras Likes this wine: 94 pointsWonderful nose with essences of red fruit and oak. The wine takes a little time to open up, but well worth the wait. There are layered textures of cherry and plum fruits with some hints of vanilla and mild spice. The finish is long and silky. |

7/15/2019 - krhaugh Likes this wine: 94 pointsThere is no doubt that this is a hearty Walla Walla Cab. Earth, spice and leather with that special “cabbiness” on the nose. Bold, dark red fruit with hints of tar and vanilla in the mouth. Very dry to finish but a delicious wine. |

8/9/2019 - SMHalps Likes this wine: 90 pointsOpened, but not decanted, in a NYC restaurant, with my wine group. While we liked it, it was our least favorite wine of the night. Something was just missing. Especially in comparison to the 2012 O'Shaughnessy that followed it. For me, it felt soft, with very little structure. This is my 3rd bottle of the 2012s, and one was corked. So far the 2012s just not as good as the 2010s from this producer. |

7/7/2020 - Djfermentation Likes this wine: 94 pointsWe took this to Trellis last night to share with a friend. The wine showed quite well at this stage after 30 minutes of air. The fruit is just enough right now and the tannin level is complimentary. I don't know that additional aging is going to take this up a notch as it is so approachable now. A pleasure! |

7/31/2020 - markcic Likes this wine: 90 pointsOpened and decanted for two and a half hours then poured back into the bottle and took to the club for an outside dinner. Dark berries on the nose. The palate is blueberry, blackberry, leather and some dried thyme. The finish was moderate to long. It is a very good wine but I do not see the mid 90's that other trackers are giving it. Drank against Beringer Lampyridae of the same vintage and that was definitely the superior wine. The dinner that the wines accompanied was a simple grilled seasoned pork chop and sauteed spinach. |

8/8/2020 - Bryan49 Likes this wine: 89 pointsNice WA cab, medium body, red fruits, drinking very nicely. Served with Ribeye steak. IMHO this represents weak QPR and there are many other cabs that I would allocate my $ & cellar space to. |

11/10/2020 - goodvitis.com Does not like this wine: 87 pointsA saturated nose features blackberry, cherry, black plum, pipe tobacco, and tanned leather. Full bodied, but the bright acid doesn’t match the light tannin, which is quite quite gritty and thin. It leaves a gap in the mid palate that could have easily been filled with some merlot that would have also softened things nicely. They blended malbec (instead), which didn’t do the job of plugging the hole; it’s still donut wine. The flavor profile includes blackberry, plum, rhubarb, cherry, graphite, cassis and black pepper, but is tainted by bitter black tea. This missed the mark in terms of balancing acid and tannin in the winemaking, while the tannin is just off. |

3/27/2021 - RPerro Likes this wine: 94 pointsDecanted 1 hour and paired with homemade pesto pizza. Really delicious, with cassis, black cherry, tobacco, black tea, and bitter espresso flavors. This is a robust wine with a lot of years ahead of it. Rather bummed I don't have any more...drink now - 2030. |

7/9/2021 - SMHalps Likes this wine: 91 pointsPopped 'n poured at a NYC steakhouse. This started out great, and it never changed over the course of our drinking it. We had it alongside a 2010 Larkmead Cabernet, and it started off much better than the Larkmead, but as the Larkmead opened up, it surpassed this wine. A really nice WA cab, I'm probably being conservative with my numerical score. |

1/2/2022 - ibglowin Likes this wine: 92 pointsPlenty of life left in this wine. Decanted for about 90 mins. Stored properly at 55F since receiving and went beautifully with Sous Vide beef tenderloin. Amazing combo. This would kick any cab from Napa at half the price. |

1/4/2022 - SLOFred Likes this wine: 93 pointsDefinitely a better bottle than my first and likely because my first bottle had too long a decant. I would decant optimally about 2 hours, then this wine really shines. |
