Instant nose of black raspberry opening up with notes of leather and spice. After opened for 30 minutes the wine was luscious and decadent. Full bodied deep dark fruit with a great mouth feel of dark fruit. Finish showed the decadent tannins, soft long and impressive. A real delight to drink. If my patience was there I am not sure it would have been any better.

A beautiful full bodied Napa Cabernet! The nose was spectacular with a blast of dark fruit and then going to a vanilla and leather essence. The flavors followed with dark fruit and vanilla chocolate notes. The tannis were there with a nice enjoyable presence - layered and soft. . The acid balance of this wine made the flavors intense and marvelous. It can’t get any better than this.!!

An outstanding expression of the vineyard, with many years yet to grow.

Nose of dark dried fig, sweet leather, allspice, licorice, pepper, and forest floor all tinged with a floral background of violets. Beautiful concentration that didn’t impose on the subtle nuances on display.

Palate shows typical Napa raw power but tempered with the initials touches of age. Gorgeous balance and lush texture. Excited to see where the 17s will go with time.

A great wine hitting its stride now! Nose was full of dark fruit with a background of leather and some vanilla. Flavors followed with ripe dark fruit - blackberry and some ripe dark plum. The tannins were soft and layered with an acid balance that enhanced the fruit flavors throughout. Finish was nice and long with vanilla, chocalte and those dark fruits. A very exceptional wine!!

Okay, this is interesting to be sure. Amazing QPR. Lovely fruit and flower aroma. At first, a bit astringent, but opens up wonderfully after about an hour. You can taste the top quality cab. Black/sour cherry on the back of the palate with vanilla, oak and raspberry. Nice!

This is a very friendly wine with a good nose even from the opening and opens up well with a decant of an hour or more. Flavors of nice fruit with enough tannin to be a real cabernet. Very good QPR.

A point "better" from a month or so ago. This is interesting to be sure and quite tasty. Amazing QPR. Lovely fruit and flower aroma. Opens up wonderfully after about an hour. Black/sour cherry on the back of the palate with vanilla, oak and raspberry. Nice!

Purple color with slow legs. Nice nose of new oak and dark berries. A bit chewy on the palate with plum, blackberry and licorice. Long leathery finish.

Made from 92% Cabernet Sauvignon, 4% Petit Verdot, 3% Cabernet Franc and 1% Malbec. 14 months en barrique.

1.5h decant, longer would have been better.

Purple, dark red colour. Lovely dark red/black berries, oak, tobacco, tarragon, and dark chocolate. Initially it seemed a bit too sweet even though it only has 1.6 g/L RS, probably due to extraction. Got better with time, not sure if I got used to it or if aeration helped. Long finish.

Brilliant QPR on sale (22€), 4 bottles left.

Nose is OK; but, hollow and short medium.
Finish is bitter and coarse tanin.
Tastes like lower priced Chianti, not Napa Cab.

Much better and harmonious on the second day.
Intense black berries: tanin gets softer.
But, the price being considered, not recommended.

Dark purple color, oak, some fruits / dark berries but a bit less than expected but still a great QPR! Easy to drink, friends liked it a lot during dinner.

Well-balanced after decanting for 2 hours. Decanting made a great difference.

red cherry, with notes of spice and dark chocolate. A well balanced wine with slightly chewy tannins and a lingering finish. Good value

Just lovely (with 2.5h decant this time)!

91/92. Has lifted aromas of blueberries, roses, iron oxide, raspberries coffee hints and cassis. This is a lovely Californian wine with good and a bit disjointed tannin and lovely nicely oaked depth and very good length.14.5%. Good value. On offer at 21 Euros here. Lay down 5-10 years. Needs 2-3 hrs aeration. A bit juvenile but has potential.
